Just wanted to gush about my new fish...lol..

Went to the lfs today with my daughter. I have been looking for these cories for some time now. I saw them at that lfs before, but they didn't look that good so I didn't buy them then....but the ones there today looked really good and I had quite a few to choose from. What a cool little fish these are. I'm going to be putting them in my 29 after they chill for a bit to be sure they don't have something I don't want. They look really healthy and have settled in a qt tank I have.

I also picked up a pair of fancy guppies for my daughter's tank. I had to buy a pair, though I really didn't want a female. I put her in my "junk" tank and the male went upstairs in my daughter's tank. He's rather pretty....very white tail with white dorsal and ventral fins and a white patch on the top of it's head. His body is black. Quite fetching actually.

Just wanted to share about my new purchases.. :D

Congrats. I loved my panda cories (I just had my pair die after having them a couple of years. It was inexplicable. Came out one morning, one dead. Came out the next morning, the other dead...all other fish are fine...odd). I think they are indeed the cutest of the readily available corydoras sp. How many cuties did you get?

I only got 3 because they will be going into a 29 which already has 2 dwarf gourami, 2 blue rams and 4 otocinclus. This tank is doing very well and I don't want to risk overloading it. It's a planted with two nice pieces of what I think may be malaysian driftwood.
