New Pics of my Harlequin Rasboras

Molino: Wow. No other words to describe those pix, but wow.

Now if I only had a place for Harlequins...

A way underated fish is right.
I've got a flock of 'em in my community tank and they are good for watching any time of day. They can be comical, organized, lap racers or free for alls- just tons of fun.

Awesome pics too.

Great pics of them..! We have a small school of them with the Discus. They seem just fine with the very warm water the Discus need.

I can't get very good pics of them since they are constantly moving and my digital cam is not great at stopping the motion of swimming fish. Now, the Discus don't move like the Rasboras - darting about...

They are tough to get a good picture of. I found that if I add more lighting above the tank some of the pictures turn out. They do tend to dart around so a lot of the pics are blurred, but with a digital camera I can take as many pics as I want. I can use the flash on most of my other fish, but the Rasboras are too "shiny" and any pics using the flash look awful.

Thanks for the comments everyone :D

Lukara do you know how to sex Rasboras?

If you are having trouble with fish moving when taking pictures, and you are using a digital camera, try to increase the shutter speed. This lowers the time the shutter is open, so it takes less time to take a picture (minimizing fish movement.)
