How big is your shoulder tang? Mine went from 2 1/2" to 10" in less than a year. He has been very peaceful but still the king of the tank. Everything I read says that they can be a menace and he's living with 6 other tangs peacefully.
 
my shoulder doesn't bother anything in the tank....he is the boss of the tank though...he puts the yellow in his place if he annoys him.....anything i've read about orange shoulders it says their one of the most peaceful tangs.
 
that blue fish, im guessing from the comments to be a shoulder tang is magnificent. would it be possible to get a shot of the fish? he's truly an eye-catcher.

I couldn't believe they were talking about the same fish since I've had mine for 3 years now and I've never seen him aggressive towards anything. He does chase the cleaner wrasse every now and then, but he lets him back into his gill slots shortly after. LOL
