New pictures from a new camera!

Nice pics and fish:) They look great!

Just out of curiosity, can you take controll of the settings on that camera? If you bump the ISO down a little you'll lose some of the grainyness of the pix. Good pictures though! I just try to throw out some comments whenever possible, I'm not trying to be condescending:)

Yeah, you can control virtually everything the camera does. I've seen the S2/S3 referred to as basically an SLR with a fixed lense. It's quite the advanced camera.

The angelfish pic was taken at ISO-800. That's why there's more noise than usual. I was just checking out how well it did at that high ISO and happened to like the photo. The discus pic came out of me actually trying to get decent photos, so I had an extra light over the tank and lower ISO, hence less noise. ;)

Do you do a lot of shooting? I love getting advice, hearing different techniques, etc.

I've got some pictures in some other threads if you want to check them out:)
I'm just getting into aquatic photography, there is so much to learn. I've learned a lot in the past 6 months:)

That's a pretty good shot for such a high ISO. That camera must have a decent CCD.

Keep sharing!

I just saw some of your photos in another thread. Nice work. What camera are you using?

I'd love to get an underwater enclosure for my camera so I can put the thing IN the tank to get photos without the glass in the way. Canon doesn't seem to make one for my camera, unfortunately. I'll have to see if some other company makes one.

It's a Kodak DX7590. I'm going to upgrade either a Nikon D50 or D70 in the near future. Thanks for the compliment:)

Cajun, Looks really good, should have mentioned it on the cz28.com board. I've ALWAYS been a fan of Discus fish. Wanted to do a tank setup with them but a friend recommended against it since I am a beginner again, after about 7 years out of the hobby.

Can you give us some updated photos?
