hello all. Just thought I would shre pics of the tank that in a way you've all helped create since a majority of my learning since getting into aquariums in the last year has come from information and questions on these forums..

Funny you should ask..
I am not entirely sure. It was sold as Ludwigia which I have since decided it isn't, but not exactly sure hwat it IS. I have seen a plant similar listed as a "purple waffle" but still not sure it is the same thing.
Thanks all for your compliments. Still have some work to do on it. having a few hair algae issues, and trimmed and moved some things last night. have a ton more pictures but didn't want to bore you all. lol

it currently houses 7-8 Neon dwarf rainbows, 4 Furcatus rainbows and 4 Pseudomugil mellis and a number of cherry and amano shrimp.
Here are a couple of pictures of them (in the other tank before they were moved) as well as a pic of the tank a couple of weeks ago when I was first setting it up.
