New plants, no clue!

Hi all! I just planted some really pretty new plants, but have no clue what they are. If you can spare a minute, could you help me id them?

Plant #1

Plants #2 and #3: the one off center to the right (brownish) and the val (what kind?) in the corner

Also, a quick question. I have read that Excel is bad for Vals. I use just plain Flourish, not the Excel type. Will my plants be ok, or do I need to switch ferts?

Need clearer pics and close up of leaves to be sure.

By brownish do you mean red? As in it looks brown on the cam, but is red up close. Looks like rotala rotundifolia to me. Mine looks redder than this pic: http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_rotala.php

As for the vallisneria, I would say it looks like just regular tape grass: http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_spiralis.php

The shorter plant in the front left are anubias coffeefolia:

This looks like it's dying. It should have it's rhizome above the gravel or else it will die, which is what you are seeing. The rhizome is the horizontal fleshy part where the roots come out of. Same applies to all anubias or plants with rhizomes.

Sammie- Thanks for the info. I think that the "coffee" anubias should be slightly better off now, as it is tied to a small 'frog on a rock' ornament. It was given to me free by an LFS and was much more brown when it came home. The other anubias have their rizhomes above the gravel, the pics just make it hard to see. The rotala is definitely the plant I have! I will try for better pics of the one on the left.

fresh_newbie: I thought it was a ludwigia, too, but the plants in all the pics are more sturdy looking than the one I have.

Any ideas on the ferts q?
