New plants

Most of the professional orvaward winning scapers will crush aquasoil in their fingers to cover the glue while it's still wet.

I first saw it used by Luca Galarga at the 2017 AGA conference, but it seems to be really common now.

I'm not planning to win any awards either.. but knowing someone with way more credibility than I makes me feel it's a good thing.

I did end up gluing them to rocks. It’s not really noticeable. However the really tiny ones I glued ended up dying probably because I covered most of the rhizome.

Another temporary solution is rubber bands...leave them on for a week or two until the plant grows on, then snip it off. I always found that easier than messing around with thread or fishing line.
