New Pleco! RHINO!:)?

The rock should be fine. The driftwood helps aid in digestion with the Pterygoplichthys family. Also depending on the temperment of the cichlid will determine if it will work or not. In my my experience Rhino's tend to not defend themselves very much. They rather flee and hide which makes sense with the coloring and all makes for perfect camoflauge. In a tank though there is only limited space to flee to. Ive noticed gibbiceps are more willing to fight of intruders and so are joselimaianus. Weberi's tend to be very pushy as well but from info online don't get nearly as big. Mine are still young so only time will tell with my weberi's.

thanks for extra info:)^ will consider;) anyways, the cichlids are way into the future:) at least for me(in terms of getting actual cichlids, not angels/discus)

here are the pics.............super sorry for late pics, we didn't get the new camera, we returned it and are looking for the canon something III........costco is sold out:(

finally found it today out and about eating......usually, he is always in the rock cave or under DW or in cocounut........

he/she is around 3" right now......not scared of me at all, usually my new plecos, even large ones scatter when I walk up to them if they are out in the open, this one stayed still in the same area and pose from when i saw it to the time i returned with the cam!

Wow how cute. I have never seen a rhino that small in person. Not many pics of them that small either. I wanna get another one.

thanks:)^

he/she seems really happy, have never seen him/her clamp/close his fins once, not even when he/she was in the bag when coming home from LFS!

anybody want to confirm it as a rhino?>

no way jose:)

mine:D

I bought one about a year ago or so. It was no more than two inches when i got it, hes probably about 5" now. A fairly slow grower compared to my hi fin, but a very cool looking fish.

k, thanks!:)^
makes it even better:) nice...what size tank is he in?
