New Pleco Won't Stop Moving

still havnt seen my pleco go for the cucumber. i got some oto cats yesterday and they eat it, but not mr. pleco. i see him come out, but havnt gotten a good look at his belly yet, hes more shy now, but less shy since ive got the otos. hes found a master hiding spot, i thought he disappeared one day.
anyways, i still havnt seen him eat. i hope hes eating, but i dont think he is. im going to call the LFS today and ask them what and how they were feeding him when he was in there(they still have more)
are plecs solitary fish or do they not like being the only one of their kind in the tank?

i also saw this rly cool catfish in there. he was $20.00 and was about 4". the information paper thing said hed get to about 6". just thought id post that incase there are any catfish lovers in here. he had a cool fin on the top of his back.

Try brocoli stems (trim off the outer skin first then lightly boil), I think you can put it in raw but I prefer to boil for 2-3 minutes to kill off and potential harmful bacteria (Never can be too careful!).

I have a small clown pleco and a small bristle nose pleco and they both love the brocoli stems, even chasing away other fish that get too close!

I tried zucchini today and some lettuce, but didnt weigh it down, hopefully it will sink over night or I'll get a fish sinker or some plant weights to weigh it down tomorrow for my golden nugget pleco.

i had a bad experience with a gold nugget i bought - his tummy was seriously concave, i thought he was gonna die, he wouldn't eat for 3 days after i got him by post from wildwoods, then after that he ate a piece of courgette i put in for him, and that's the only thing he will eat now! i treated him with for parasites and now he has a flat/slightly roundish tummy and i've had him for two months now, so i'm happy he's made an improvement, also now he doesn't hide away but grazes on the bogwood i got him.he also comes out a lot more too.
