New project!

Cool project , can't wait to see the progress .

I'm going to go do another big water change and get anything that was missed, which is likely a small amount, but still ;) And I get the tech on Monday or Tuesday  I'll take more pictures when I do it, maybe even of people giving me strange looks ;)

Very nice, I'm glad you got the go ahead :D

What are you going to put in it? I'd love to see it heavily planted, including some anubias & moss balls, with some micro fish... 10 celestial pearl danios, 10 pygmy cories, 2 scarlet badis (M/FM), and some shrimp :hearts:

I'm going to go with a 'regular' community, you know? I think it will give the widest variety that way :) Plus, I wouldn't be able to breed the celestial pearl danios, so I wouldn't want to do them... So possible fish include platies, small cories, tetras, harlequin rasboras, male guppies and some shrimp and snails... but I'm not 100% positive on the #'s or type (such as if I'm going to do neon or rummynoes tetras) or whatever :) I'm going to semi-let the store pick, but just a little... like if they would rather give me neon over another kind of tetra...

Alrighty, woot! I have stuff form the LFS! They gave me red Florite and some black gravel to put over that (I picked it out, I've seen it done this way before and it looks wicked :headbang2:) Also got a stleath heater, food, driftwood and a light... not for a question...

They gave me a T5 light, it's 30" and 36 watts, for a 20L tank... that's not good WPG... but I'm not familiar with T5 and don't know if it's better and WPG doesn't apply? Anyways, this is what I have: This one

Will that work? I didn't want to question them right there in the store, since the 'fish guy' suggested that on... but I could get a PC florescent if this one won't work :)

Anyways, no pictures right now, because I was hurried and didn't have an hour to rinse the florite LOL, so the tank is kind reddish-brown :wall: I was asked about 18,000,000 times (okay, maybe less ;) ) if the tank was okay before I left the library, so i put sticky notes on the glass saying "The tank is FINE" before I left :)
