It's a golden pothos plant. It's growing in my filter.

Ah, I thought so. I had heard of growing them in tanks before, and tried it myself. Unfortunately, I misunderstood and grew it completely underwater, which led to its untimely demise. Maybe I'll try it again this way.

They suck up nitrates, so it helps with the algae. The roots can be fully submerged, but keep the stems, and leaves above water.

HA! I had too many of them in my previous life and they were everywhere, In a new home now in a very small town, asked dear husband to pick one up for me at the grocery store. They do not have plants..... After a few days of checking other stores he paid $40 for one from a florist shop OMG. Still pleased to have another one again
