They are great if you don't have a big filter. Stagnant water is no good, just ... don't create Niagara Falls current in your tank- bigger isnt always better.

All sounds awesome! Think you might need to add power heads or circulation pumps for better flow in those big tanks?

Jebao rw8, they are on the list my man. If you want to save money look these up on YouTube, remember I'm a saltwater guy first, but there is a setting on there pumps perfect for a gentle stream.
