New record high price used aquarium

Oh gosh that beautiful and built in. Im sort of a multi-hobby person and in order to afford that and still save for my kids inheritance, I have to try my very best to get the experience without the expense. Till this day I get ribbed for showing up to a shooting tournament with a $3 diaper bag (equipment) instead of the stranded Moroccan leather shooters bag ($200).

But don't get me wrong I still buy expensive stuff if the value and performance is there like the FX5, just received my 2nd one today.

Nice another FX5 !!!!!! They can be addicting :woot:

And another. I am always changing my setups :duh: This is the same tank , my first shot at live plants a couple years or so ago. The tank is no longer in the wall, I actually gave it away free on craigs list .

And now this is what it looks like
I downsized to the 125 in the livingroom .
And yes, I do all the remodeling and stuff myself :)

LOL , if I told you then I would have to kill you :)

I have to kind of agree people that do sw do it hardcore but the issue is they can kiss what they spent goodbye when they go to resell.

I bought the stock and other stuff from a dudes sw company that went belly up, I paid 2k for over 15k of stuff, they guy selling it just got sick of trying to offload and gave it to me to pay off over time. I have a better set up at home than the best petstores in the province after buying all the gear.

I got all the stuff that was used to do a 800g tank included in the deal.

Cool! a palidarium with only the surface showing. Good stuff! :)

Gunner, I made some dead rock a few years ago. Was fun to make, cause you can basically make the rock any 'ol way you want.
I told the story somewhere on here. About how my wife tossed (powder)carpet cleaner on the floor, right in front of my 75g freshly filled with ro and salt. Then fired up the vac right at it. Yea, the tank all but disapeared behind the cloud.
So my cool, home made rock never bothered to see the inside of a tank.
