hey all, i am thinking of making my 20 gal tall that has been just sitting in my room filled, filtering for about 6 weeks now into a small saltwater tank.

was gonna do this:

live rock
live sand
bulb anemone
candy cane coral
purple plate coral
brain pineapple coral

2-purple firefish goby
2-percula clownfish
1-yellowtail damselfish
1-six line wrasse

24" aqualight plus 130w fixture
visi-therm heater

my ques is...what type of filter should i use??
i have a whisper 40 on the tank now, it's just been cycling
could i use that or should i be using something totally diff???

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

HAPPY 2007!!

depending on the ammount of live rock and live sand you get that is usually going to be your best source of filtration. LR is usually something like 1.5 pounds per gallon of water.

Agree, live rock should be all the filtration that you need...Also, all the fish you have mentioned is too much for a 20 gal, i would stick to 4...But, thats just my personal opinion...
