Here is my latest addition. I found him in a lfs mixed in a 10 gl tank with other male and female bettas. Ugh these ppl really tee me off. He seemed to be the baddest in the tank. He had everybody beat to the bottom and he was flarring at everything, when I walked by the tank he flarred up and started swimming rapidly across the tank. That is what caught my attention, I wouldn't have even dreamed that these ppl were that dumb. I made a remark to the employee that served me that who ever put them together shouldn't be in this business at all. She stated the owner had put them together, so I asked for a card and name. It was provided and I made a call to him. He stated that it was a myth of them being fighting fish that they were very peaceful. I told him that he needed to return to his store to take a look at his tank of them. That several had already been beaten to death and more would follow and that I would be making a call to the local authority of his abusive manner in keeping and selling fish. Needless to say they are not housed together anymore, I went by today at lunch. :headbang2: Anyway now that I am done ranting here is my beautiful Purple CT. O and he is in a 2.5 gl bowl that gets a 50% wc every 2 days.
