New Shrimp - Help What Type is He?

Yeah i checked it out but none look like my guys...... Seem to have a habit of picking up odd-bods...

Got sold some Bamboo's only to be told they are Vampires.....

Your shrimp belong to the South Asian Macrobrachium assamense/Macrobrachium dayanum species complex. The species in the hobby are commonly called "redclaw shrimp". Young essentially hatch as miniature adults. Relatively low aggression between conspecifics; dominant males establish "harems".

I have some largish pictus catfish... 2 paroon sharks 2 afcs and 2 rams... am i gonna have a problem because thus far everything is bigger than them.....?

These things are around 2 inches long are they gonna get much bigger...?

Especially with regard to the catfish, the combination doesn't really bode well for the long-term future of your shrimp. If the fish were comparably sized, the shrimp would probably be able to fend them off for some time, but they'd be vulnerable after molting even in that scenario. At any rate, these shrimp are really interesting in their own right, and easily breedable in captivity. This page has a lot of good information.

My pictus have been well behaved since they were small, they have lived happily for some time with Vampire Shrimp...(the ocassional whip-lash as pictus swim like demons).. My main worry was the Vampires as I love them.... I think my fish are more than big enough to cope with these guys....

By god can they climb they.... they can scale the glass very easily..

I had enough death & destruction with my blue cray so i couldn't bear any more...

However i am not sure they all same species as they there is one who is almost completely black, one who is clear with black and white spots and one who is almost exclusively see-through..... They all look very different.... when i get more pics of the other 2 i shall list for some input from you guys....
