New shrimp only tank, planted!

As long as the algae doesn't get too bad im ok with it for now, I haven't figured out what food to buy for the cherrys yet... Any suggestions? I know over feeding is bad, so I haven't given them any fish food or anything, they just have the algae for now. I am planning on making then a small moss cave with mesh and some flame moss once it arrives! Thanks for the replies,

I alternate algae wafers and captain bob's sinking 40 pellets. I have 20 shrimp so 1/2 wafer, skip a day, 1 sinking pellet, skip a day, wafer, skip, pellet, skip. Also a small slice of blanched zucchini once a week. I have snails in there too that help eat anything the shrimp dont.
 
Just a suggestion but I feed my shrimp cucumbers. I cut off the outer coating and the seeds off. They seem to love it. The algae wafers are good too.
 
I use algae wafers and fish flakes(but I also have endlers in there, so the shrimps eat the remaining food)
