in your house!!
i got a blood cleaner shrimp today! first saltwater invertabrate! a new SW only store opened up in the town near my house so my dad took me down today and we looked around and saw him and had to get him. he did cost $30 though!:swear: oh well hes pretty. ill get you's some pics once hes aclimated and in. anyways i was wondering how large do bangai cardinals grow? the guy had 3 small ones in there and it looked really pretty and was wondering if it would work in my 10 gallon. also i was looking at getting some soft corals. he some kinda green polyps and and pile other things cant remember the names. tonga branch was one and i think i saw a kenyi tree, can those thrive in a 10 gallon set-up? thx! and would having a blue damsel in my tank with a clown cause a problem? also if i upgraded to a 15 gallon could i keep a clown and a 6 line wrasse if i got rid of the damsel? i really like those to after seeing them

LOL, lots of ?s there.

Blood shrimp are very colorful, but their big problem is they seem to like to hide and live in the rocks or in the back of the tank from my experience. You rarely get to see them. I have never actually seen one "clean" any fish either, not real sure how they get the "cleaner shrimp" name.

2 Bangaiis in a 10G would probably be ok, or 1 clown, or 1 sixline, or 1 blue damsel, but not mixed at all. I think you need a 55G or larger to be able to safely house both a clown and sixline wrasse because they are both a little terratorial and can be aggressive, something that doesn't go well with peaceful fish like Bangaiis and Firefish.

Yes, it would be a problem to put a clown and a blue damsel together in a 10G tank, thats just asking for a fight and I bet the blue damsel would win.

Green star polyps and a kenya tree coral are good beginner corals. I would definately recommend them to start out with to learn and get familiar with corals.

Probably not in a 10G. I can't think of any wrasse, even the fairy or flashers that would do good in a 10g. I would recommend sticking with peaceful fish (and highly suggest getting rid of your current damsel, maybe a small trade in at your LFS for a new fish). A 10G would be much more interesting with several peaceful fish vs one aggressive one. You can do 2 bangaiis, a goby and a pistol shrimp, or 2 bangaiis and 2 firefish to push it, but have a lid on your tank if you get firefish.

I think any one of these gobies are good in a small tank, yellow watchman, randalls, yasha (hard one to get established, but great hardy fish if they make it past the first few weeks and are eating good), twin spot (delicate though), Hi fin shrimp goby, yellow clown goby, just to name a few.

my bad its pajama cardinals they have not banggai. they had a blenny called a scooter blenny but read there very hard to feed? would 2 pajama cardinals and a scooter blenny work? im gonna ditch the damsel i do not like him hes a jittery little thing who always hides!

Nope, a scooter blenny is really a drogonette and not suited at all for a 10G tank, they require the same as a mandarin, well established tank with lots of live copepods. PJs are the same as Bangaiis as far as suitability, a pair of either are fine.

Just the mandarin, which is also called a "Blue-Green Goby" by some, but again, a dragonette and not a goby even though they are commonly labeled as such.

There is a green clown goby, but I have never had any luck with that color myself. Yellows have been much more hardy for me.

Or a neon goby which has a bright blue stripe

Also a Green Banded goby, but I have personally never come across one of these.

Those are the only 3 that comes to mind that has blue or green in them.

Oops, I guess you edited your question up there.. you said Bangaii's and a wrasse in a 10G at first. ;) Yes, you could probably do 2 PJ cardinals and 1 or 2 firefish and that would really max out a 10G tank as far as fish, but you would have 4 very peaceful fish that will all usually be out and about for you to see, where as with a goby there is no guarantee it will be out in the open, they like to live in caves and they rarely swim up in the water column.
