lol it actually grossed out people around me when i took out the baggie with these giant creepy crawlers. Giant water cockroaches is what pops into my head when i see giant shrimps

Pops sent them to me as Wood shrimp but they are Vampire shrimp (Atya gabonensis)

:rofl: My sis calls them insects/bugs and thinks they are gross! I find them very mezmorizing to watch. :grinyes:

They are awesome, mine took over his specific territory and when any other fish would try to come into his space, he would try to stab them with his poker claw, lol, he was great!

he was fanning and eating.. but who knows what mightve happened.. Im starting to suspect that im never going to have any luck with inverts and co2/fert injected tank..

Glad i got the 2.5 tank set up thats low tech.. so far a cherry shrimp has been living in there without issues.
