I got up this morning and look in my tank. There was a snail on the glass. I really cant get a good pic of it. It is about 3/8 inch long dark brown. I just put in some jave moss and a piece of driftwood. I just wanted to see if yall could tell what kind it is. thanks

does it look like any of these?

What shape is the shell? Sounds like a common pond snail, but the description doesn't give much either.

I'm pretty sure these are accurate depictions of each commonly kept snail species. Hope this helps. :)
