My fish are my babies
looks like a Stomatella sp.. they are related to abolinies and are great beneficial cleaners of algae. and yea they are nocturnal.
it could be something else though is the shell spiraled or kinda flat like?

Couldn't tell what the shell was like as i didn't get a very good look at it. From what i could see it looked like cottonwool. Hoping it'll make another appearence soon so i can get a better pic.
Thanks for the links yothereyo. The more stuff i'm reading about the more i'm not wanting to put my hand in the tank. I'm surprised how much stuff there is that is harmfull to people.

i was thinking exactly the same...I have had live rock from two different suppliers and a mates mature reef....and what have i had as a hitch hiker...Jack Sh*t...ha ha ha ha

It all came from Fantasea in Sandiacre near Nottm. If you plan on getting any more Niko i could give you directions. Seems very cheap on most things but it's only a small shop. Last time i went he had flame angels at £50, upwards of £65 everywhere else. Are there any good shops in Staffs that are worth a visit?
Very pleased with all the rock i got and only £8 a kilo. The tank has only been up and running for a couple of month so guessing still tons more stuff still to discover. Seems like i'm seeing something new almost everyday. Have also seen what i think is an Astrea? starfish. Very small and green. Read that some eat corals and some don't, so keeping an eye on it to see what happens. Expect 100's more posts asking what things are, bit hard to Google when all i can describe most of the stuff as Thingy. lol
PS. Just an observation........Mobile phones don't make good fish....DOH!!!
