I would suggest just going FOWLR at first, fish only with live rock. Skip the anemones and any other corals for at least the first 6 months. You need 90lbs to be the bottom of "ideal". You want 1-2 lbs per gallon like Grins stated. You don't have to add it all right away, but getting a good layer of base rock down as well as a few Live rock pieces should help get the tank bump started.
Your light is not good enough to grow corals very well in a 90G. If it is a 150w Metal Halide it is ok, and will proabably sustain an anemone placed under it, but not much more in a 90G tank. You need around 2 250w's lights to be ideal. If the lights are tubes, and not a small bulb, then you really need to upgrade down the road.
As far as fish.. there are so many to choose from.. gobies, clowns, wrasse, dwarf angels, blenny, cardinal, etc. It would be a lot easier if you visit a place like liveaquaria.com or marinedepotlive.com and get an idea on what fish your thinking of then come ask about experiences.
