Now that I finally have the tank up and running, I have chosen the fish that I am interested in. This is a 75 gal tank that will be moderately/heavily planted.

And the canidates are...
2- Gold Gourami
2- German Blue Ram
2- Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami
1- Trinidad Pleco
1- Black Ghost Knife
2- Clown Loach

The knife, and loaches are our 2 favorite picks so far, but I really do not want the others to beat up on the loach. We have done substantial research on these fish, but I want to know if anyone else sees any potential problems. Is there any certian fish that needs to be introduced first?

you might have problems with the gouramies becaus the males tend to fight a lot. as for the clown loaches ive read that many people fail because they only keep one or two. theyre a schooling fish that must be kept with 4-5 others. theyre also more active as a school. and the knife fish may be able to eat the other smaller fishes but im not sure.

Would it be possible to have more than 2 Loaches in a 75g tank? I was under the impression that there would be too many large fish on the bottom at the same time. I am really looking for suggestions for some fish that will hang around in the middle and upper parts of the tank.
