As far as i Know, no true crab should be considered reef safe, all are damaging to the environment in one way, whether it be decorating themselves with coral, or nipping at inverts or fish, it has been discussed on RC, as Dr Ron (rshimek), he will tell you the same thing, and i don't recommend putting any crab in a reef environment.
