new tank mates

I am in process of cleaning a new to me 55 gal tank. once it is clean and cycled i will be adding
1 8 inch pleco
1 5 inch clown loach
2 2 inch clown loaches

just wondering what good tank mates would be for these fish ?

I like the rope fish

any ideas

I'm in the process of buying a 50G tank, and I had the same question you did about Ropefish. From what I've been told they grow to be like 36"+ in most cases. So if your in the market for a Ropefish, I believe you should be in the market for a bigger tank as well. :coffee:

If you are going to add any thing else to your 55g, stay with small fish.

Your pleco will get upwards of 18" and your your clown loachs will get to be 8", allthough the clowns do grow slow.

Clown loaches can get 12+ inches, not 8".

my son in law has a rope fish hes had for about 7 years its about 10 inches
