hey guys i just set up my new tank was wondering if you guys could review it for me and make sure everything is compatable?

20 long
penguin bio wheel 200
t5 fixture with 2 24" 18w bulbs

rock gravel
bunch of drift wood

7 bloodfin tetra
2 german blue ram
3 oto cat
1 peacock eel

ill be feeding omega 1 tropical flake and frozen blood worms

Peacock eels get 1ft in length. Major no for having the eel in a 20g. Not sure the minimum tank size but i assume its anywhere between 75g to 100g for the eel.

Please read about freshwater cycling, and you'll need to move that eel out of there ASAP. Do you have a master test kit? Make sure that the temp is high enough for the GBR's they like VERY clean water, low ph, and temps between 80-82.

everywhere i read says 20g minimum for a peacock... and i used some cycled media from another tank

type peacock eel minimum gallons in google

I still don't think putting a 6"+ fish in a 20g is appropriate. Pics speak a thousand words too...

i would not put a 5 inch fish in a 20 gallon long. i have a 5-6 inch cutteri cichlid in my 20 long now and im upgrading him bc he looks cramped.

Oh boy.....

The only thing I will say is please look up the full grown size if these fish.

Your original stock looks fine to me minus the eel...

african butterfly fish is also 20g minimum... ive seen as low as 15g minimum for them...

the eel and him will never even see eachother because one is top and one is bottom
