New Tank Stocking

I just got a 55 gal glass aquarium a few weeks back, to go with my 20 gal, and it is just about done fishless cycling. I wanted to get some oppinions on my stocking plan for the tank.

2 Sparkling Gourami (1M/1F)
2 Dwarf Torquise Gourami (1M/1F)
2 Powder Blue Gourami (1M/1F)
5 Platys
3 Schwartz Cory Cats
4 Marbled Hatchet Fish
6 Lemon Tetras

It is a planted tank and any input is appreciated.
Also, any input about kuli loaches or clown loaches as possibilities in this tank instead of the cats.

not entirely sure how it is, but pretty much everyone will tell you not to keep all those gouramis together, but I've got that many gouramis in a 20, and ive never had a problem, and they never fight, so don't let them discourage you about that

I was just thinking that in a large 55 gal and with only 1 male of each species that they would be fine. It seems others on here accomplish the same thing.
Any other comments? Would love opinions. Especially concerning which should be used: loaches or catfish?
