New tank w/ pics.

Not as far as I can tell. He looks and acts perfectly healthy. He's got a slightly swollen stomach, but I figured it was from overfeeding, so I've since reduced his food intake, and it's gone down a bit. Here's to hoping he lives a long, healthy life. :)

Wow! I thought that any level of Ammonia and Nitrites were bad for your fish. They say Ammonia can do permanent gill damage (if not kill the fish first), and Nitrites can damage the liver and kidneys (but that process is much longer in exposure).

How are you spiking your parameters without doing him any harm?

Not really sure. I've been doing a 10-15% water change daily, just to keep the params down. I actually don't even have a master test kit at this point...I know I should have one. Hopefully I'll go this weekend to get one.

Can you give us some updated photos?

You bumped my thread! :) All the pics are gone, and the one showing now isn't even my current gourami. :p

Sure, I'll get some updated photos tomorrow.

UPDATE!!!

Well, here's the update that I promised yesterday. The tank itself has stayed largely the same, but the inhabitants have changed dramatically due to death.

Right now, the 10g is stocked with 7 Cardinal Tetras and one Blue Ram (male).

First, here's a couple shots of the tank:

Next, a shot of one of the Cardinals:

Next a bunch of shots of the male Blue Ram named Santana:

The Blue Ram is still not colored up totally. He's been in the tank for 3 months now, so he's plenty acclimated. He should be colored up by now, so I am going to assume that he's just a runt in terms of color...but I still love him. At least...I THINK it's a him. It is a him, right? :)

Yeah, I'm going to go buy some Cichlid pellets for him soon. He's been eating normal flake food nd frozen blood worms.
