okay, so i finished setting up my 130 gallon tank today and just stared at it for a while. just had to share with somebody ;) sorry i have such a cheap camera, but i think you'll get the idea, heh heh.

Heres the whole setup...

things are still in progress for the 130. im going to put a plain black background on it and build up a little more structure on the bottom, add some floating/suctioncup plants to the top/back and hopefully find something in vine form to wrap around my caves fiber optic cable, my air tube and the heater cords.

the livestock is as follows...

2.5 Gallon:
2 female green swordtails (less than 1")
2 feamle red velvet swordtails (less than 1")
2 male feeder guppies
3 ghost shrimp
1 brown khuli loach (2-3")
1 common pleco (2")

130 Gallon:
2 tinfoil barbs
2 4-line pictus cats
1 angelicus pictus cat
1 spotted pictus cat
2 blue gouramis
1 gold gourami
2 sun cats
4 banjo cats
2 zig-zag eels
1 striped peacock eel
1 tiretrack eel
3 clown loaches
4 red finned loaches
1 common pleco
1 bumblebee catfish
1 male fancy guppy
1 female fancy guppy
1 male marigold swordtail
1 female green swordtail
1 female marigold/green swordtail mix
1 male swordtail (breed unknown, hes black/metalic gold, possibly part molly/platty?)
3 cory cats (breed unknown, theyre kinda light silver and look like somebody spilled pepper on them)
1 bala shark
2 tiger loaches
1 striped angelfish
1 farlowella
1 commet goldfish
1 ramshorn (i think thats what theyre called...?) snail that i think my tiretrack wants to eat :p )

and i think thats all.

im cutting myself off here shortly, but i still want to add these:
trio of blind cave tetras
pair of small african butterflies
bristlenose pleco

would i be overstocking if i added any more fish though? :o

most of the fish are rather small right now, but yes, i do realize their potential, so even though it looks sparce from a glance, i dont want to go overboard.

tank looks great i'd love to get a long one like that,

are you gona put your swordtails into the 130 when there a bit bigger? i'd say they'll get a bit cramped in the small tank when there fully grown, mine are very active swiming all over the place, when i got mine i remember some guys on here saying that he wouldnt put them in anything smaller than 29gallons,

Nice setup. It's making me ache for the 125 I am planning... Oh, woe is me. Saving money while raising kids is, er, somewhat tough.

Is it a good idea to lean that rock up against the glass ? I don't know, that's alot of water to land on the floor if you get a stress crack or something..
uhhh... a 2LB rock leaning against a piece of 1/2" glass thats holding hundreds of pounds of water...? gee, should i take the water out too, could be risky...

yeah, when they grow big enough to not bee looked at as food, i will move them in. same with the khuli and the pleco. :)

i know :( but seeing that you said kidS, more than one? yeah.... that could be even more difficult than one, heh... it took me a while to save up for it and i only have one.
Yip, Kids, plural. And yeah, it'll be a while on my meager "allowance" I get from my wife. Still, the kids are great and I have my smaller tanks if I want to play. ;)

It says you finished setting up today, does that mean you just added water today and the filters and everything? Which wouldmean you added all those fish...without cycling...if thats so then read the article...

If thats not true, and by set up you meaning completed cycle and such then it looks good.
