Well the new tank is here - had to take the front oor off to get it in! It came with a sump which I'd like to use but don't know where to start! The end glass panel needs replacing but other than that it comes with so much pipework, tubes and pumps/powerheads that I don't know what's what. I have never used a sump so would appreciate all the help I can get. It is very dirty and all needs a good clean too.

Looks good! Nice summer time project, for sure!

Once cleaned up it could be a nice tank, we'll all be looking froward to it's birth....:)

6ft x 2ft x 2ft, not sure how much it holds to be honest - it depends who I ask! I think it's around 165 gallons

Its actually a 180 gallon (or 179.5324675???)...now that will be a sweet setup when ya get it done...:headbang2:  :hypnotized: can't wait until it is finally done...

How bad is the panel repair going to be?

If you know who manufactured the sump and/or aquarium, contact them and ask for a schematic of the sump setup. My aquarium, when purchased new, came with instructions and diagrams.
