new tank

Hey, Fishin' you sound as excited as I was when a friend of a friend (yadda yadda yadda) told me he had a 135g tank he "just wants GONE"....

The girlfriend wants to know where you work that they would let you have a tank at work ( and are even CONSIDERING paying for it !!!! ) :bowing: :bowing: You are my hero!

All kindsa stuff. We feed standard cichlid flake every day or so. Fresh frozen shrimp, frozen "cichlid and discus treats",goldies or guppies, started on lettuce recently, although I can't confirm he's the one eating it, and every algae controll fish I've ever tried to put in that tank. He's now about 6 inches, got him at about 3 for $4.

I work at a small Timeshare resort here in tahoe. Really family oriented and the bosses are cool people. I don't think if I came up with the idea alone they would have gone for it, but I had my 10gal on my desk for a few months, kept it reeeely clean, and all the kids who even glanced at it got an earfull of "this fish is a..." The fact that all I'm doing now is upgrading to a bigger tank helps a bit methinx.......may I say again :dance woooo hooooo!
