I am excited to announce the purchase of a new 10 gal tank today. I know its nothing like some of your tanks out there but its about all that will fit in my dorm room next year at college. I set it up and started to cycle....one of my friends is going to be kind enough to let me have some of his filter medium to speed up the process. So when it is all over and done with I'll post some pics...It'll be a few weeks! :dance2:

Hey congrats.! Setting up a new tank is exciting. Is this your first foray into the hobby? You're smart about the filter media to speed up the cycle. Just some quick advice, if you do get some filter media, get at least one fish. Bacteria with no amonia source will die. Anyway, good luck and congradulations!
im not exactly sure what im going to put in it....i was thinking about some tetras(i really like glo-lites) or some cories, i also have five bettas, three male and two female, of course the males wont coexists but the females might get upgraded from a 2.5 gal to a 10 gal....i havent made up my mind yet....i also have a couple of apple snails and mystery snails that i could put in there, right now my substraight is sand, i like the way it looks and the practicality of using it....FishyLisa...i did take the pic of the betta in my avatar....that was Maverick(RIP)
