new tank

i got a 75 gallon tank from a friend for a good deal. i got the 2 silver dollars and the cae and the pleco died. i also have 1 oscar . is it overstocked. also why is the oscar not eating the tropical flakes i put in? it ate it the first day i bought it.
what food should i get ?

I can't say whether this tank ios overstocked or not because I don't know about the sizes of silver dollars. I do know though that the minimum for an Oscar is the very least 75 gallons though so I'd say with anything else in there you are pushing it. As far as the tropical flakes and why he's not eating them..... oscars should be fed cichlid pellets, not tropical foods.

i think it is just about at its limits with the oscar and everything else that you have in there.
