New Tank!!!

Electric blue jack dempseys are usually expensive. They for $70.00 at my lfs. And theya re pretty timid.

plus, they are very delicate, the slightest water problem and they will be affected

Here is my list so far... I think i have put alot of thought into it???
1 blood Parrot
Firemouth (1 or pair???)
Severum (1 or pair???)
I am trying to match fish to the bp, i got this feeling he is aggressive (he attached the other bp in her tank, to the point were she had to remove the other bp).
I really would preferr(sp???) to go with smaller fish but i am getting this bp so that messes that up!!
How does this sound so far? Once i get this figured out i will start picking out the dither fish.

first, the other blood parrot probably died from stunting in the 20 gallon. most fish get pretty agressive when they are in cramped quarters, so that couldve played a factor. once you get him into a nice open space he should become more docile.

a pair of firemouths and severum will be fine in the tank, just make sure that the arent male/ female pairs, as once they start to breed, it wont be pretty.

Would i be better getting just one of each?
Would Angels be a better pick instead of firemouths? I ask because someone on another board suggested it, said the severum would be better with angels.

yes, severum would better with angels than firemouths would.

you could get one severum and then four or so angels

that sound good?? I have never had cichlids before so i want to try to do this right.
