I noticed that I have never posted any pictures of my tanks before. I just changed my background and here they are. The 20g is the one on the left and the 10g on the right.

Wow they look great! I particularly like the way you used works of art! goes well with the ornaments! 
So often in this hobby people are led to believe that the 'standard' way is the most aesthetically pleasing, so whenever someone does something completely unique, I have a lot of respect and admiration for that.
The live plants are really doing well in that 10g

I get bored easily and the solid backgrounds were not working for me anymore. Hence, in a few weeks I will most likely change the decor, gravel, and theme.

Just be careful when changing the substrate. change half, give the tank a couple weeks to adjust, then do the other half.
you take out a big chunk of the bio filter when you change substrate

Nice. I do prefer black backgrounds though. Tom Barr made an article in TFH in 1996 about using cork tiles and sticking anubias and Java ferns on it. The cork tiles are siliconed inside the tank at the back. Never tried it but it seems a better choice as it also helps avoid the reflection you see at the back from a dark background.
