Have been involved with trop's for some time but have recently become interested in African cichlids. Having a general knowledge is ok but any clues, particularly with regard to compatibility, would be appreciated. I am particularly into Peacocks but also otopharynx, venustus and "thick Skins" (species 44). I've found however, that there are so many varying points of view concerning some of these. Some say venustus are fine in an African community, others say no. I know that thick skins, like many of the Victorian Lake cichlids can be aggro but have read of them in community situations. Any thoughts............. I also have questions regarding the effectiveness of praziquantel but will post that later.
