I have plenty of pretty green and red tipped rock anemone thriving. And I'm new to anemone's. I potentially bought an ill anemone the other day, it's white. I thought it looked good white.

Anyways, I hear anemone need light...then why did this guy run underneath a rock by the 2nd day of arriving??????

Is he a vampire anemone?

Same reason animals go off to be by themselves when they become ill- to conserve their energy and concentrate like mad on healing.

It is fairly typical for an anemone to disappear when first introduced to a new environment. Just keep your parameters as perfect and stable as possible and don't torment it by moving it- that's about all you can do.
When it will accept food I would most definitely soak everything in Zoe or Selcon first. Small frequent meals to not overload its digestive energies- and patience.
