They sell the Python there, and they probably carry it at any UK aquarium supply store. For cleaning the glass, try a Mag-Float, just scroll down the page at that link to see them.
If your tank is lightly stocked you might be able to get away with only monthly or bi-monthly water changes.
Typically weekly water changes of 30-50% are what I recommend.
