I MET, HOW FAST DO THEY GROW?

If my firemouth gets feed well, how fast will it grow in my 55g. I'm not in a hurry, it is 2.5'' now and is doing fine with my tiger barbs, paradise gouramis and krib cichlid. It briefly got chased by 1 of tiger barbs alittle for awhile; but only when i first got it. From what i have read, firemouths often do fine with smaller fish they grow up with. Ive had it for about 2 weeks now. Will it take years before full grown at near 6'', or do they grow faster. I know tank size matters some. I'm not sure of sex of fish. It's silver while sometimes showing just alittle red on bottom. It was'nt the biggest one in tank at store, but seemed to have more red on bottom at the time.
Will Firemouth outgrow tank with other fish? I have firemouth, 2 tiger barbs, 2 paradise gouramies, 1 angelfish, 1 redtail shark, 1 krib, Pleco, and a few other small fish that wont get any bigger than 2-3''. I'll find a home for pleco and start over with smaller one after i'ts about 5'' or so. I dont plan on breeding so hopefully agression will be less of problem.
Thanks for any help.

My firemouths are about a year old. They started around 3/4" and now the male is close to 4" and the female is like 3 1/4". Only recently did they get put in their current 20L tank, the male was in a standard 10 gallon, and the female was in a 10 gallon hex, so I believe this slowed their growth down a lot. They both seem to be growing again now that they have some room to swim, but they may never reach their full size. I think in a 55 they are likely to be full grown in no more than 2 years, but I've only had these two for a year, maybe a breeder who grows them under ideal conditions can chime in.

I've had my firemouth for about 5 months maybe and he hasnt gotten much bigger and hes only around 2 1/2 inches

So basicly i probably wont have a near full grown cichlid in my 55g for at least a couple of years.
Will it being in a 55g slow the growth alittle since its with about 8 other fish in tank, compared to a much larger tank with same amout of fish? Hope this makes sense.
I just want to be able to enjoy the fish for awhile without it being large compared to others so soon.
Not realy sure of the sex of fish at this time though.

2 tiger barbs 2 paradise gouramies, 1 med. sized angel, pleco, krib cichlid, 1 red tail shark, rosy barb.
The ones that are coming out as i transition to more semiagressive are male betta ,lamp eye tetra , and dalmation mollie.
The only reason mollie is in there is because it was a bulie in my community tank. The mollie thinks its semi agressive and sometimes chases a fish or to.
Red lamp tetra minds its own bussiness and is not messed with. and the betta is just mean for its size.

Im trying to create a unique aquarium that has various semi-agressive fish. Alot of these cichlids hear are more agressive with more than one of the same kind, or when breeding, therefor i wont be getting 2 of a kind. The only reason i got the firemouth was because i have read sometimes they do well with smaller fish than it for a cichlid.
