hey everyone im new to these fish thing im having a 10 gallon tank n is empty im going to start cycle soon im just wondering i have a bio wheel filter n im going to hav a betta do i need a air pump for the betta or the bio wheel thingy is good enough and one more thing do i need a under gravel filter thank for the help..

Assuming it is the proper size for that tank, the biowheel should be sufficieant. Bettas actually prefer less current in the water, so overfiltration is possible.
You don't need an undergravel filter or aerator for any species of fish, provided that the filter is properly or over sized. If you do want to suport any species of fish, you will need a filter, so yes you do need the biowheel.
