Well, I have been doing freshwater for a while, and I was really inspired by a video I saw where peps had freshwater AND saltwater stuff together!!!1! I figure it just takes the right balance of salt so that you have happy saltwater fish, and happy freshwater fish too. I told my friend this, and they said they had done this before, and said that you just had to have some salt but not too much salt.
I seen at a big petstore near me how they have salt in the freshwater tanks anyway. So, I bought some salt and added it to my freshwater tank. I was really careful not 2 add 2 much. Then I picked out a really pretty coral. I was gettin tired of having not much color in my tank!!!! Here is a picture of the coral at the store.

IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!

So I bought it, cuz it will look sweet in my tank. And I have it floating in the bag now. You can see how it will add more colors to my tank, cuz its just all green right now.

So, I started to add some water to the bag now, but how long should I add water for?
Also, where in the tank do u think it would look best? I think corals need sum light, so I will put it in a sunny spot, lol.
How cool is this gonna be!!!!

That coral is gonna add some great color to your tank!!!

remember to balance the salt mix though(just NaCl)

those tetras are really going to look nice next to them, all the colors are going to pop!

Wow, nice coral! I can't wait until it has baby corals, you will have to show pics!

pffftt..bet she can't find SW driftwood in PA.....

WOW it's gonna look great, I hear you can make the corals happy by just using aquarium salt :)

oh man, now i know what to do with the spare 55 gallon...i'm going to make a 50/50 sw/fw tank like yours!!! woot!

Ummm.... I seriously doubt you have the right kind of lights for that coral. Shame on you for not doing your research first!

Wow, what a waste of money on those nice zoas.. they are going to croak in your FW/brackish tank unfortunately. :( Even if your salinity was way above brackish at 1.020 I still would give it a 90% chance of dying simply due to low salinity.
