New to the Forum....Hello!

I'll ask my husband in the morning if he's done anything as far as looking into C02. If he needs some help, I'll tell him to give you a holler. Thanks for offering to help him, I'm sure he's going to have some questions when all is said and done.

Well, just like I had figured..........my husband is going to have a go at the Co2 today. We'll let you know how it goes.

My hubby hooked up a DIY c02 today and it's working great. Can't wait to watch the plants go crazy! My concern is there isn't enough c02. He did one two liter bottle with the yeast/sugar mixture. But being that the tank is a 210g, shouldn't we do more than one? I'm completely lost when it comes to this stuff. Let me know what you all think; more bottles needed? Or no?

Hmmm.....well, it was a cool experiment anyway lol We've been talking tonight about going and buying a regular C02 tank. I think he realizes that that little 2 liter isn't going to do the trick. It will be great for our ten gallon quarantine tank though. We'll just move it over to there. I think he said that it's probably going to cost around $300.00 to get set up the right way for the 210. Still cheaper than saltwater! lol

We broke down and bought a 20lb c02 tank yesterday. Not as expensive as I had thought it would be, spent about $100 for filled tank and guages. The husband spent the rest of the evening tinkering with it. My question: (and I'm sorry if I sound a bit dumb on this subject, but I'm concerned about putting too much c02 into the tank and I'm suffering from a bit of "information overload" at the moment) My husband has it set up doing about a bubble a second. Is this sufficient for a 210g?
