New to The Hobby with Two new tanks

Hello,

Im michael I just got into the hobby and i think im starting off good . Ill describe both my tanks and then post some pics

26 Gallon Bowfront. Got it new from Petco

1 aqueon 30 gallon filter
1 aquaclear 30 gallon filter
both HOB

100w petco brand heater

1 red tailed black shark
3 mickey mouse platys

65 Gallon Rectangular Got i used from craigslist with shark and crab
48"x12.5x25

1 60 gallon walmart brand fliter
1 50 gallon aquaclear
1 Penguin biowheel 20 gallon filter
(pictures dont show the two smaller filters


1 marine-land 200 w heater
1 100 w heater

1 7" iridescent shark
1 Fiddler crab

I got the big tank off craigslist i know i have 3 HOB filters on it but i plan to get a large canister filter for it when i get the money also get one for the 26 gallon when i can.

Please tell me what you think they are both new and plan on trying to sell the iridescent shark when i can dont really like how much he/she eats.

Nice tanks! Have you thought about painting a background on them to make things really pop?
 
I just added a plastic black backing that came with the big tank will eventually paint both of them. Wanted to get them set up to start cycle when I got them then relized how hard it would be to paint them till i drain them when ever i do that

looking pretty sweet!

Maybe add some plastic plants in the 65 to give it a more natural look
 
Yea i plan on it The 65 gallon tank i really didnt plan on getting quite yet just got a great deal on it i really wanna sell the iridescent shark and put my fish from the smaller tank in to it any body have any good stocking ideas that include the fish i currently have in them
