New Top For 29 Gallon Oceanic Bio Cube

Hello all,

I am having many problems with the lighting on my 29 gallon Oceanic Bio Cube and was wondering if anyone out there has had to replace the entire top of the aquarium. If so, where did you go to get the replacement and how much did it cost? The dealer I purchased the aquarium from no longer carries Oceanic products so they are no help. I have also visited Oceanic's Web site, but it seems they do not sell directly to the public and have not responded to my inquiry E-Mail. I hate to purchase the entire tank just to get a new top!

??? The hood?? or the glass top?? What is the size?? If it is the glass you can go to any glass or plastic company and get one cut to size. If it is the light you can try another (non-Oceanic) light. If no plants any light will do.
 
we built a canopy for our 55. its really easy. measure and build. you can add whatever lights and stuff with some basic wiring (most lights come with diagrams)
 
Did you use their store locator to find another dealer near you?

Hi Ron. I have a top for mine that I only used about 4 months because I use a different lighting system. I even reversed the bulb placement as the factory should have originated it that way to begin with. Anyway, to make a long story short. I have one in perfect condition if you have not got one yet.
