The thing is though, the WCM isn't flaring at the other minnows..its just hovering in the same corner near the surface away from the others. That's why I didn't think its behavior is normal..seems more stressed than breeding behavior

OMG...these fish are starting to scare me
I just added some salt to the tank for the remaining fish to continue the 0.3% salt treatment I started in the qt tub. I hung it in a fish net to let it dissolve. One fish immediately shot up to the top and started hovering, 2 started to bottom sit in the gravel the rest just hovered midtank.
It wasn't even alot of salt (a little less than 1/3 of 0.3%)
Are white clouds intolerent of salt or something??
Now I'm afraid to add any more..I think I'll wait a bit before I try again
Sorry, didn't mention before, but these are long finned WCM's..are they more delicate?
Also, does anyone know if long finned WCM's mouths are supposed to be coloured? One had a tinge of red, 2 others are looking kinda white..please tell me its not mouth fungus...
