Do you ever catch the Frontosa watching you play table tennis, turning their heads left and right, left and right?
Our games of ping pong are too intense for the frontosa to watch - it stress them out. They also root for my daughter too much
Here's some construction photos. I do most maint (water changes & filter cleanings) from the back side. I have a swinging hinge that allows access to the front/finished side and that is where I do my feedings and algae cleaning duties.
I have piano hinges on the left & right sides and a hinge in the middle that locks the access door in place.
I made a rollout section for the canister filter, on casters, so I can roll it out when it is time for a cleaning. I also use a HOB filter which is easy to maintain from the back side.
