-The 6-line decided to give it a rest.
-Mandarin is doing great. He just eats brine and displays to his reflection in the glass ("click" goes the pistol shrimp).
-The march of the macro has slowed, but I was kinda forced to pick up a Kole Tang. I know a Tang has no business in a tank this size, but I don't see a solution (and I don't see anyone volunteering one) to my macro problem. I'll get in there and manually remove as much as I can, and let the Tang beat down the rest.
-Also picked up some purple Ricordia. Pretty good price given how many polyps, both big and small, are on the rock. It came with one of those stubby-tenticled starfish which has already disappeared.
-Polyps on all of the corals are still looking pretty good. That's what most of the pics detail except the first one.
-The thing that prompted my post was something strange I saw the brain coral doing. All of the polyps had opened their mouths and were secreting a thick brown fluid (easier to see in the full-res pic). I have no idea if this is a reproductive thing or what, but it was nothing I had seen before.
