i have no experience whatsoever in lighting but as I'm trying to move into planted tanks, I've seen that many people have recommended retrofitting light strips with 2 x 13 watt bright kits from A H supplies.

can anyone tell me if this is too advanced for someone with no history of electrical work? What are the tools and miscellaneous supplies that I will need to do this?
