Newbie... first tank..25 gallon

Hi, thanks...I put some taller plants in the front is so they can actually have place to hide... I have two very curious cats who will sit there all day with their noses pushed against the glass and the fish were looking a little nervous. After the cats get bored with it, I'll probably rearrange the plants. We're talking about two cats that scooped a betta out of a bowl and also scooped my snail out and was playing with it on the floor! There is a cover on the tank but they have already figured out how to take the cover off the filter...not sure why... but I had to tape the cover on my filter to keep it on there... talk about delinquent cats!! LOL
 
Yeah my cats were very curious initially.

I put driftwoods and rocks to create some hiding places for my corys. The gouramis love weaving in and out of my plants along the glass at the corners. The gouramis actually swim through the "tunnel" under my volcanic rock!

My cats whacks the glass but the gouramis just swim away. They're probably thinking "stupid cat".
