Newbie in need of help

what plants do you have? I don't know. I am embarrased to admit how blindly I went into this whole thing... I've been looking online for pics to identify them, but haven't had any luck yet.

do you have adequate light? Yes, I believe so. The tank gets alot of near direct sunlight as well.

are you injecting CO2? Never heard of this. I've added some plant gro to the water. One of the plants is very well established, the other 2 are doing well, but slower.

Thanks for the advice! I'm a water changing fool! lol 30% today and plan to test and do up to 50% tomorrow.
 
Thanks for the links! Study time... :O) I was just readin up on lighting for planted tanks. Now I just have to figure out how to find a 200 lux light that will fit my hood!
 
Ok, the plants aren't pictured... grrr! If I can figure out where to upload, I'll post some pics and start a new thread beging for help (again). Otherwise, I'll have to head to my local shop tomorrow.
 
Thow a bushy floating plant on top(hornwart)and the dominant Dwarf gourami will claim that as his territory.He will not care about the bottom 75% of the tank.
